Has anyone tried the shires range of blue alloy bits, i have a young fell with a large tongue, who is teething at the moment hes not happy in any bit fixing on one side of it.They look like they might give his tongue more room. Hes getting his teehth checked again after having them done in April.

How young is young? I think if I were you I would leave him for a while until he's settled in his mouth, won't take long!

If he's four it'll probably be his last premolars coming through, a few weeks should do it. However I have found with my fell that he prefers a lozenge bit, it gives a big tongue room and doesn't bash the top of his mouth.
