i have always wanted to try side - saddle riding and i would love to have a side saddle riding lesson, and wondered if any of you knew somewhere that would do side-saddle lessons in devon, or really close to devon? Amy xx  |

The Side Saddle Association Devon & Cornwall Secretary is Mrs Gray she is in Exeter her number is 01395 232900 or the Chairman Mrs Higgins she is in Okehampton 01837 871312 - they will be able to give you a number for someone local to you who can get you started. Liz Turner is in Saltash, she does teach and also hires saddles at very reasonable rates. I will get her number for you.

Liz Turner's number - 01752 842351 - she can sort you out with a saddle on a short/long hire and could also sort you out with lessons. GOOD LUCK!!! I sadly lost my horse I competed side saddle and miss riding sideways it is so elegant and soooooooo safe once you realise that your right knee holds you on!!! have fun............
