I'm trying to decide on which stallion to put my mares to and was wondering if anyone knew of any studs whith offers for chilled on at the moment? Looking for 14.2-17hh. Thankx

Surely it should be which stud has the best stallion to suit your mare and what you are wanting the resulting foal to be rather than who has an offer on?

Sent from my GT-I9195 using proboards I read the post 3 times and still wonder if they are serious!!! We as a majority spend time researching our ponies bloodlines and then you get this - makes me cringe.

The stud fee is only a small percentage of the cost of getting a home-bred foal. The difference between the best and the rest isn't much in the grand scheme of things. I would always go for the best available and if the stud fee is an issue, maybe it would be better to buy a foal?
