I don't know about anyone one but I am struggling to find a tweed I want!! I have been spoilt by my mum when younger and always had very nice tweeds she then bought me a one off tweed which was unusual but loved it and it really stands out in the ring unfortunately I am really too tall for the jacket now  . So I have been searching and ordered swatches of what I think looks nice.. It arrives and not what the picture looks like so then the searching starts again!! I have ordered swatches and should be arriving Monday so I can see them! I want something that stands out to me, I have also asked for swatches that they don't have on the internet see if I have any luck with them but I am noticing that they hasn't been many new tweeds really this year. Can anyone recommend me companies to me please that they know of.. I went to Alexander James and they handed me LOTS of books of tweed samples. I was there for ages and spoilt for choice.

That is where my one off is from and it was an off cut out of a pile, I have asked if they have any new books and off cut samples since I last went in as they was nothing I wanted then, if they have I will go down and have a nosey.

I know what you mean. I stayed with the same showing selection tweed for a few years until I saw my new one last year - it just went WHAM BAM! in my face and I knew I just HAD to have it. I bought a jacket to show in hand/ridden and then had my lead rein outfit made from the same tweed, I've also got more material for Maisie's next jacket as I love it soooooo much. It just compliments me, Maisie & the pony. I will have spent a blooming fortune on this tweed as it was one of the most expensive but I have to say the quality is second to none. I'll be gutted when I have to change

Yeah im gutted im out of this jacket as I love it, the jacket suits everything but need a new one and im trying to find the closest to the tweed I have but proving impossible im glad its not just me, but like you say as soon as I find the right tweed ill know that is the one I want that sounds great bet you look very smart!. Hope I find out I've just broke my wrist so cant show for 6 weeks now I have 6 weeks to find and have one made lol |

le beau Chavel are fantastic. I had my jacket delivery in May and it fitted to a T. I sent all my measurements and pics to Janet and she made it like i was in the shop having it fitted. I would 100% recommend and people have commented on the jacket and how lovely it is. It was not cheap but worth every penny. I think it various from £275 to £335.
