Have started to get footburn when riding over the last few weeks but tonight it's really bad. Have got 3 more rides this week which I seriously won't be able to do unless I can do something about it. Same horse, boots, stirrups and irons for years but for some reason just seems to be getting worse every time I ride. Slightly in my left foot but really bad in my right. Been off my horse now for 3 hours and I can still feel the tingling in my toes. Anyone any ideas on what causes it or what I can do to stop it? Please getting desperate!!

Are you able to walk ok afterwards?? Or does it carry on? What's the pain like?? I'm wondering if you've got plantar fasciitis very painful but will pass , try rolling your foot over a cold glass bottle whilst your sitting down sounds odd but really helps!

I have plantar fasciitis and I can say that it is very painful indeed, mine however does not pass, it is always painful especially when I get out of bed in the morning and take the first few steps - agony. I bought some insoles when at Your Horse Live last year and they have been amazing easing away about 90% of the pain and helping me to stand properly for the first time in ages. I have a phone number for the people I got them off, if you pm me I'll send it to you and you can have a chat with them, as they are really good at this type of foot problem and have helped me no end,
