Today we had to take the heartbreaking decision to have our beloved Grouse put to sleep.
We take great pleasure in the time we have had him, and know that he is now galloping free with his lifelong girlfriend Escley Tulaga, who we sadly lost in 2012, and winning all the shows in heaven.
It was a great privilege to have owned him and his showing record ranged from Nursery Stakes, 133 WHP & M&M WHP, where he was placed at Wembley in 1992, the first year that the NPS M&M WHP final was held there. The same year he also qualified & was placed in the inaugural SHP classes at Wembley & he also had much success at BSPS Championships, PUK, where he was on the winning M&M WHP team in 1993 and had many wins in flat classes as an M&M, most wonderfully at RIHS on my birthday in 1995, where he went on to take reserve champion in the International arena to Amanda McHale & her stunning Connemara.
Sleep tight beloved pony and we will take good care of your friend George until it is his time to join you.
