Silly moan perhpas but I am fed up with the Mud! Our field could be worse i suppose. I have only been back into ponies after a long gap for a short while but i can't take the mud anymore. Our pony loves rolling in it, it's hard to determine what colour he is sometimes. Roll on summer, please! sorry had to get it off my chest.

I have a piebald but it's very hard to tell what is natural colour is after he's been having a party in the field! I wish i could by a massive bubble and shove him in it, so he can have a munch and drink but not get absolutley filthy. At times like this everyone (Just like me) with light coloured horse has my sympathy!!

I think the worst thing about mud is the dreaded mud rash and the sucking off of shoes - luckily my boy has had his shoes taken off for winter and has that much pig oil and udder cream on his legs the mud doesn't stand a chance.

I own a grey dun highland.....half of the field is just mud....I am soooo fed up!!! I have to rug him up or he comes back a bay and I would so love for him not to wear a rug and be natural but when you have a limited field on livery it just is disgusting! Roll on summer ;D

Yes you are not alone in loathing the mud. The thing that gets my goat is that it just starts to dry up and then is rains some more. grrrrrr
