I have a fabulous working hunter pony standing at 14.1, judges everywhere say she's exactly what they would look for apart from she needs to slow down which I am working on.
Just out of interest, what are the rules for hoys workers? I.e are there any rules for height of pony to age of rider? She is a part bred m&m and I'm 23 years old. I'm used to doing bsja and used to their rules but wanted to have a bit of a change next season.

I'm used to doing bsja and used to their rules but wanted to have a bit of a change next season. The plaited ponies have height restrictions on pony to age of rider. The fully bred M&M ponies have no restrictions on height of pony to age of rider. Think the part-breds will fall under plaited but not 100% sure. The Open classes are what would be HOYS opens qualifiers. Copied the rules as under from BSPS rule book - hope it helps and good luck Open W.H.P. and Intermediate WH Classes 180. THE B.S.P.S. W.H.P. Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cms. Riders not to have attained their 14th.birthday before 1st January in the current year. THE B.S.P.S. W.H.P. Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 133cms. and not exceeding 143cms. Riders not to have attained their 17th birthday before 1st January in the current year. THE B.S.P.S. W.H.P. Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 143cms.and not exceeding 153cms. Riders not to have attained their 20th birthday before 1st January in the current year. THE B.S.P.S. OPEN INTERMEDIATE WORKING HUNTER. Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over, exceeding 148cms. and not exceeding 158cms. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year.

If you could get a rider under 20 the pony could do 15hh worker classes.
