Hello Everyone. A few updates for RIHS (and tips for those who have not been here before!)

Weather has been v hot and dry here, our first rain this morning with light thunder storms, due to clear by lunch time. Perfect for getting the dust down.

As usual, remember wellies and sun cream, it is an English summer show after all. Also, if you are new, bring shoes that you can walk in, the stable field is 10-12 minutes up hill from the grass rings.

If you are coming today the gates open at 1000. Dont all try and rush for then as you will just sit in a queue. We have put plenty of hook up out and will certainly have enough for the next few days if not the whole week.

Traffic....the M23 is shut at Pease Pottage Services in BOTH directions over night for re surfacing.

Timetable changes: there have been some changes so PLEASE check the Hickstead web site for that information

Hello, are hook ups available to book on arrival and if so how much please?

Hi, yes on arrival at £90 inc VAT for the week.

Weather currently warm and sunny, only 3 vehicles waiting in queue (1405 hrs)

I am not arriving until Thursday, do you think there is any chance that there will be any hook ups left by then and will it still be £90 til the end of the show?

Hi, yes there is a good chance that there will be but I cannot guarantee it. Yes the price remains the same for the space I am afraid

We are travelling down Thursday eve to stable overnight. Do the gates close at night. What time do we need to be in by to get our stables. Thanks

If we book a hook up can friends park next door (their horsebox cant hook up) or are hook up lorries seperate?
Also how long are you allowing per class ( we are in hwt hunters?)

Marshmallow: That will depend on where you get parked, if you are on a row end of hook up then yes. You will need to discus with parking team on arrival. I am afraid I cannot answer the class length time for you
