I want to do HOYS (and RI) qualifiers on my mare next year, shes 153cm so will measure in for the non-native pony section which is great. Am I right in thinking there is no age restriction on the age of the rider for the HOYS qualifiers?
I've read the HOYS rules and the CHAPS handbook and can't see an age restriction like the other classes.
And judges don't ride them in the non-native pony section but they do strip them. Am I right in thinking that too?
Thanks in advance!

You are right, there is no age restriction for the rider, and the judge doesn't ride them. You will need a height certificate, and the pony will need to be registered with CHAPS for HOYS qualifiers, and BSPA for RIHS qualifiers. Good luck, have fun

Don't forget also owner and rider need to be showing members of CHAPS and you need a HOYS competition number from CHAPS too :-)
