Approximately 13.1hh Bay 10 year old gelding by Erw-Wasted Rhys.
Jacob is a fantastic pony he combines quality with exceptional talent and a wonderful temperament rarely available.
He is very well schooled, easily scores 70 % + in dressage competitions & winner British dressage his latest score of 76%. He works easily in a soft outline and is always only ever ridden in a snaffle yet responsive to ride.
He has an excellent jump, with fantastic technique. He jumps with a lovely regular rhythm and is very careful and can turn tightly round the jump off making him very competitive. He did BSJA senior level for 1 year (3ft - 3ft 3) Qualified Amateur 2nd rounds. Actual winnings £80, notional £29. Many wins and placings unaffiliated SJ up to 3ft.
Excellent WHP, clear in all his classes at Equifest with a 4th/35 open B & C class & 5th/35 open 138 class. I feel this is an area he would really excel at with his style, talent and manners. Schooled cross country and placed in ODEs, happily jumping ditches, going through water and up and down steps.
He also has a great kind temperament, very easy to handle good to lead never rude or bulshy. Lovely stable manners never kicks or bites.
Excellent to hack out and brilliant with all kinds of traffic, good on fun rides & safe in open fields. He is never strong and doesn’t buck, rear or nap.
We have had Jacob since a foal and although he has been mainly ridden by us (small adults) he would be equally great for a competitive child. He is very special to us and only for sale due to new baby so currently lack of time means his talents are being wasted so a great home is very important.
