Dont know about anyone else but I am missing the karma's and believe it not even the smites!!!  I just think since they have gone people have turned really nasty! I know that bit*hing went on before but now its full on name calling and personal attacks! The amount of threads I have read just today with people calling other users idiots and allsorts!  It might be a coincidence that people are feeling particularly mean but it seems to have happened since the systems were changed! Im not complaining I know it was done by a vote, I just think its interesting that without the reward and sanctions policy people are being so horrible! I dont like it!- Am I being soft???  |

There is no harm in us doing another poll in another few weeks to gauge opinion again - it may be that now they are gone that members appreciate them more than they did. And at least members will know what the site is like with them and then also without  |

I voted to keep them! I like them, but I do think people are more outspoken now they are gone, I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not!

I think they inhibited comment. Had a school playground element about them, and could be used in a distinctly nasty manner that can well be done without
I don't miss them at all.

I dont either viking, some members were targeted, it was all very childish, i hope they dont come back. This is a site with 6,000 members and guests there is bound to be heated debates, but yes some people are just very personaly nasty, maybe the mods could do some sort of warning system? Three stikes and your out?

I really miss them!!! I know some people got a bit upset over them if they got smited, but its a great feeling when we get them!!!
TO ALL MODERATORS, I really hope we can have a new poll, I did vote to keep them but I don't think many people new the poll was there. Most people only look at the lounge and snug area so perhaps we could put the poll there??

I too didn't know there was a poll? I think when karma's and smite's were about it just turned into a popularity contest. But i do also have to admite it was kind of fun. I think i had-4 Oh well!!!
