Two year old Hanoverian x Arab to make around 15hh, she is about 14.1hh now.
She is out of a pink papered Hanoverian mare who was by Espri. Espri produced offspring who competed to the highest levels in dressage and show jumping. Ranika's uncle Esprit De Valdemar competed in dressage in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic games. Another uncle, E.T. FRH, a show jumper, won 36 Grand Prixs, the World Cup title twice, 1996 vice European champion and fourth at the Olympics in Atlanta.
On her sire's side she has US, Egyptian, Babson & Crabbet lines (so I've been told!) She is fully registered as a part bred Arab.
Ranika will be perfect future small competition horse for somebody who has the time to let her mature. She has been out showing for the first time this year and has won or placed almost every time and we have had some lovely comments from the judges. She qualified for Equestrian Life championships, 2nd at Emley Agricultural where she was also best 2yr old as well as 1st in young stock and 2nd in pure & p/b Arab at Pennistone. We have decided that we have done enough shows with her this season and she is now ready to find a new home.
