I have always found that once arranging care for my animals, you feel you will worry, it is natural. Though once gone, you will relax and realise that there is nothing you can do whilst away and know that you have provided best care in your absence. Plus they will have your emergency number, so best use it for that reason only.

I'm off on a horse and dog free holiday this week. TBH I worry more about the dogs than the ponies as the ponies are in safe hands with my sister and vice versa when she goes away. Last time we went away we used a house/pet sitting company for the dogs, don't get me started on that experience, what a nightmare!!!

I'm fortunate that I have a very good friend who looks after my ponies and dogs. She used to stay at my house but she's moved closer now so takes my dogs to her house. They all have a great time!!!!
