Lessons, lessons and more lessons, with a good instructor who knows how to build yours and your pony's confidence.

Start with small jumps then when you are happy make them bigger.

lessons with a good instructor, use a neck strap and start small... even if you jump small jumps for 5 weeks it makes the difference... get your basics. x

Pretty sure if you have "cured" your confidence problem in 3 days simply by reading then there wasnt really a confidence problem in the first place? I am lucky confidence has never been an issue but I have a friend who loves her horse dearly but somedays the nerves are so bad she is ill!! She also develops mystery injuries to get out of riding!!

To be honest i don't think it was confidence, it was just teeny weeny bit of nerves, but i've stopped being silly and just get on with it! So much so i went to pony club and got 4th in show in combined training sj+dressage i have to say for our first show we did awesome,
