i no its a bit early but does anyone no what Mrs L E Bigley will go for in the hoys classes? becuase its about a 4 hour drive for us and didnt no if its worth travelling that far.

Have been under her on numerous times and i really wouldnt waste my entry fees on her. Never consistent( my opinion) in her judging, couldnt and still cant see what she goes for.
went under her on the same 4 yr old cob in two different classes at the same show, first class was no where at all after going very well and the second class was second and told me what a lovely type, when he was tired and didnt go well at all!!!

I went under her once with Streetfighter and she pulled us in near the bottom along with Ernford Bellboy and Longhalves sword of gold so we all left the ring!! Bad manners I know but wouldn't waste my money again.

Agree with Nat mid, been under her and never understood what she goes for accept skitty B's in first riddens and goodness knows what in opens. A real pity as its a lovely show with normally enormus entries, I wonder if entries will be down this year, but someone has got to win??

Judged us at nps this year, open class, mainly novicey ponies that no one had seen before at the top, and 4 hoys ponies at the end of line, we seriously considered walking out!!

There is a lot of criticism on this site about judges who always go for faces - now this judge is being criticised for not sticking hoys ponies automatically at the top of the line - you can't have it all ways you know!

Have been under said judge and her husband on the same day.Will return under husband but not wife.Nobody could figure out what her type was.

Agree totally, in fact I was at the same show as you and class, it was extremely bizarre to say the least!

Oh yes, I remember talk after that show too....person I spoke to was of the same view as Essendy.

That's a fair point Shelley. Perhaps she really does judge what she sees on the day, not what she knows from past experience?

I totally agree with many of you.
I wouldnt hesitate going under Mr Len Bigley again, fair consistent and knows what he likes/dislikes.......but as for his wife...well..shes another story...needless to say i WILL NO WAY GO UNDER HER AGAIN............

I wanted to take a mare to their stallion who was at public stud E mails were exchanged and agreed terms etc. When the time came to take the mare they wouldnt answer emails, their phone etc and in the end I had to make other arrangments. Anyone who is so discourteous out of the ring wouldnt get me in it to be judged by them!!!
