The early classes were pretty quiet but there were some big foal classes and some very well deserved champions. Our Fell stallion Wellbrow Diplomat won the adult M&M class and stood reserve champion. And my little yearling Fell colt Midtown Hero was 3rd in M&M yearlings

Your c was nice, we had a not so successful day with my dales getting last in the m&m non Welsh over 4. But took my palamino 3 year old for his first ever trip off the yard for a ride round and took everything in his stride so not all bad

I've missed every single NCPA show this year ! And this is yet another one that passed me by LOL !Oh how I miss the old days of schedules through the post ( showing my age! ).

flee - we've missed you too! Main Branch schedules still come through the post, but it is VERY expensive now. All the dates for NCPA events are listed in the handbook &/or Yearbook which every members receives at the start of the year, so dates are advertised well in advance PLUS website www.thencpa.co.uk has all up to date information & schedules & entry forms to read &/or download I am like you, in that I do like something paper to look through, but when you take into account the cost of printing & postage (plus time for hard pressed volunteers) then email & the internet wins hands down for most of the branches. Plus of course we do advertise on HG (& I for one have missed your more frequent postings on here!)

Not knocking NCPA admin Janet , and fully appreciate the need to save money and the costs involved in postage etc ! It's just that we're so busy in other departments these days that I very rarely have the luxury of spare time to browse the internet and ( quite possibly due to my age !) I simply forget to check and then it's too late . It's not you . It's me .

Who judged the foals and anybody get any picture of championship my little girl may be in serious regret not taking the camera! Pam Brown judged the foals. There was a lady with an iPad taking pics, not sure if she was part of the committee, maybe email or message Liz Bradley to see if she knows who she is x

We brought our part bred arab foal at 10oclock yesterday because after seeing the schedule and 10 M&M classes preceded the part bred classes 1 hour seemed safe enough a gap to leave. However, none of the 10 classes had any entrants. Could there not be a not before to avoid this situation.

Yes I think Suey has had a mix up with the show comanchediva - Lancs weren't running anything on the 16th (only NCPA show was WHP for the Cumbria branch!
