HONEST ADVERT! The sweetest, nicest, prettiest kid’s novice pony out there! Here I have Lola, the cutest little 12yo, 14hh unreg connie mare. Lola loves a good fuss and groom and you can’t help but fall in love with her little face and beautiful silver dun colour. (Although looking like a fluffy seal with her coat at the moment)
Lola is an extremely good doer and could do with her grazing being rationed and living in, which I currently cannot offer her as she is currently out 24/7 (so she has a bit (ALOT) of a grass belly going on at the moment). She only has two minor faults:
1) I bought her from a dealer, who the farrier has figured out had put large front shoes on her to cover up the fact she has had lammy in the past (Although he thinks this is down to her being used as a poor breeding machine) But with limited grazing, no problemo- she’s been living out for a few months on rich grass and she’s not had any problems but better safe than sorry.
2) If she lives out with a herd that doesn’t rotate she will gain best friends and becomes very herd orientated to the point she won’t leave and will not get caught! And if you go for a hack past her herd she will nap and not want to go past- however this is not the case if she lives in.
That’s it. That’s her faults. She’s amazing. . . if you can catch her when living out. I love this mare. I really do. I never really thought I’d click with a mare. And I have. And I’m sad to see her go but I can’t meet her requirements at the moment. She goes well in the school if enthused by her rider- or she will just plod but you could hack this mare for miles and miles and she’ll just go. She’s the type of horse that you could leave for three weeks, come back and she’s just the same. She’s a rareity and one of a kind. Won’t find a mare as easy to do come up for sale for a while as she’s the kind you want to hold on to. But I just can’t have her living out on the grass I have as it’s sooo green.
I want her to go where she will be appreciated and loved. No breeders WHATSOEVER. And someone who will give me a cheeky update every few months. £950 ovno. I’m making a huge huge loss on this mare but her happiness is all I’m after.
Comes with tack and Rugs. Location Bolton
