15hh approx 6 year old Welsh D out of ridden prize winning mare (produced at John James yard for Durris Stud) half sis to HOYS supreme 2007 ridden. Lovely nature mare, professionally broken in 1 1/2 yrs ago, went out on loan as I was recovering from injuries, however loaner wasn't ideal and mare not happy, too much whizzing about from the photos I later found. She went for a while to professionals yard but has been with me since April to be turned away. She is now ready to be ridden again however I really cannot physically ride or handle a younger horse as have nerve damage, sciatica, trapped nerves and contusions, I need something older that is very quiet, perhaps one that is still able to be shown etc but maybe wants to retire a bit from top level showing - prefer M&M and can look at anything from Section C upwards. My mare only has 1 fault and that is she is scared of farrier. Based near Edinburgh. Would swap or sell her but must be someone who doesn't just talk the talk of experience but walk the walk!
Also 15 year old 14.2 approx Welsh D gelding by Broughton stallion out of my Durris mare, my sisters horse, he has done a bit of everything from qualifying NPS finals with his then loaner, to beach rides, lessons, clinics, shows etc etc he has been with me since 6 months he is a lovely boy however he is better off in work at least fairly regular (he even did a stint at the RDA at bannockburn til it was sadly closed) and at present he is with me as my sister is finding him too much for her as he really isn't a first horse for her which ultimately my sister needs. She is very fond of him but they have never been the correct match (clash personalities) and would love to find a good home with someone who can give him regular attention, riding etc she would look at something that is happy to plod out on a hack on his/her own and do some low key things and that is able to have time off and not be any different. My sister has no interest in competing so could suit one that is looking to retire from competition but is safe as houses plodding round the countryside esp as she is a bit nervous at times. Both based with me near Edinburgh.
