I have one of my mares in one - she went from rearing over backwards to going sweetly. She has the happy tongue with rollers in a pelham and they specially made her a hanging cheek as she didn't like the loose ring...
I find they either love it or hate it though - one of my geldings has a fleshy tongue so I thought I'd try him in it and he hated it so I went back to a waterford which he loves.
I have a 145mm loose ring happy tongue with rollers that I would consider selling!

Tried one of these on my welsh d mare she hated it with a passion, I suppose it just depends on the horse. I would see if you could borrow one first to try cos there quite expensive if your horse doesn't like it

I tried the pelham version and my mare went sweetly for the first few times and then decided she didn't like it at all. I hired mine through the bit bank.

I have the loose ring version, I got it for my D stallion who had a small Mouth and a massive tongue, he also went from rearing vertical to happily working on the bit and instead of trying to run through the bit he was soft in the mouth with breaks, deffo worth trying, i hired first from the bit bank

My boy didn't like the myler, I tried it but he was better in the bomber, I think there was just too much movement with the independent sides on the myler
