I am sat here, rulebook in hand! However still unsure....we are hoping to do the RIHS Pretty Polly M&M LR classes this year with our section A, and reading the rules all seems fine. Pony lives at home, looked after by myself and ridden by my daughter, backed by us, never been produced or been anywhere else.
However considering sending a different pony of mine to a friends daughter, who would like to do some novices on as we think he will be more a FR/open than a LR. I would pay his keep and show entries etc. Would this affect our pretty polly status?
The rules only seem to be concerned about the pony that is entered, not about other ponies I own?? So my understanding is as long as our section A meets the criteria and my daughter doesn't ride the pony that is at my friends we are ok?
What are peoples thoughts?

You will be fine , AS LONG as your daughter doesnt ride the pony being produced / sent away/...

Can I also point out....Not intended at any specific person/pony.... you are NOT eligible if....
You make your living from riding and schooling horses/ paid to produce for others... You allow a professional to sit on your pony at ANY show within the current Year You get a lift in a professionals vehicle to a show you have a professional strip your pony in ANY class in the current year your jockey rides a pony on production with a professional....
These are all examples of combinations I have seen go forward to PP Final at RIHS...........
