I'm being a muppet but am confused. I'm wanting to register my pony but do I have to have a height cert?? We will not be doing HOYS RI classes. The pony is a 122 Sec B and we are wanting to do FR M and M and SHP Any advice gladly received.

Hi yes you will need a height certificate for the SHP classes. If you were just doing M&M you wouldn't unless you qualify for RI or HOYS. Hope that helps!

for M&M ponies you only need a height certificate if you qualify for HOYS, the BSPS do not require M&M ponies to hold height certificates to compete at any of their finals.

Oh your are quite right! I believe it's only m&m RI workers that require a height certificate as NPS rules.

Oh your are quite right! I believe it's only m&m RI workers that require a height certificate as NPS rules. FOR M&M RIHS - JMB height certificate has to be sent to NPS office within 8 weeks of qualifying. I am presuming, therefore, that you only need to get the height certificate once you have qualified? That is my interpretation of the rule, open to be corrected
