Deniqua Westwood is based in Bolton, I think. She has a Facebook page I believe, but as I'm not on Facebook I can't help you as regards that, but would be worth a look.

I'm looking to take up dressage as I am fed up with showing! I need a trainer in the Northwest who can travel to us.
Any recommendations? Me and my pal have never ever attempted dressage before and our background is county level showing, HOYS RIHS and all that malarkey.

Take a look at your local riding clubs and their calendar. They will often have regular dressage trainers as well as more celebrity types for one offs. You need to find someone you click with. Beware, it is very easy to call yourself a 'dressage' trainer and some are very good at selling, not so good at dressage and training. So try before you buy at RC clinics is a good way to sort them out. With a good supportive trainer, you will find dressage addictive, challenging and great fun.

Couldn't agree more, both in your decision to take up dressage ttsp24 and in S&Os remarks on the usefulness of RC clinics to find (and reject) trainers, cheaper through RC too. At the lower levels, dressage isn't scary, it's only correct flat work that should be the basis for any other discipline, showing included. I used to do both at the same time on my early Ds, gave up showing them myself but carried on with dressage until I couldn't ride any more.
