I work at Landmarks Specialist College for adults with learning difficulties and we are very pleased to announce that our showing series for Equestrians with any disability is being kindly sponsored by Derek Fallon of Connolly's RED MILLS feeds.
Show secretaries, here is what you need to do! We would love for as many shows as possible to hold our special class so equestrians with disabilities can compete at different events around the country.
Register their event with Landmarks (for free) and you will receive a set of Landmarks rosettes & Certificates to hand out as prizes. Competitors will enter the Landmarks Showing Class (either ridden or in hand) at a set entry fee of £6.00. £3 of this will go to Landmarks College and £3 will go to the show organisers. All competitors will receive a rosette &/or certificate. We may look at running a GRAND FINAL later in the year, depending on how the series takes off.
Wording as follows
'Red Mills Feed Sponsored series for Equestrians with any disability, organised by Landmarks College.'
This class is for Equestrians of any age with any al disability. This can be entered either ridden (on or off lead rein) or in-hand (with or without a helper) It will be judged on the rider/handlers showmanship, knowledge, effort and ring craft. There will be prizes for all competitors. Entry Fee £6
If you would like to hold one of these class's at your show, please email pollymallender@landmarks.ac.uk to register and have your rosettes and certificates sent out.
Kind regards, Polly Mallender
