What colour pretty browbands have you used on chestnut ponies . Red does not really go I don't think .
No greens either .

I've seen plain burgundy ones on chestnuts that looked very nice
I suppose it does depend on the shade of chestnut though
I tried a burgundy and gold one on my chestnut for fun (he is a sec B) and he looked great!

It really depends on how deep a chestnut the pony is and the pattern of the browband. I've used a navy velvet with a yellow/gold satin ribbon and it looks lovely. Red can be used as an accent colour in a deep red such as scarlet but not the post box red. I also wouldn't recommend green.  |
