I came last with a little Lr pony i had many, many years ago. Was mad to take pony really, she was not windsor quality but had fab day out never the less. Chloesmum i think jago's picnics were famous wherever they went, yum yum, bless mrs J. Still think of those picnics every time i see french bread or boursin! Awww - I came 2nd last with our last pony when he was only 4 bless him. He lost a baby tooth cap 5 minutes before going into the ring! It was awful because I had to mop up the blood and I was panicking because I thought someone would see and throw us out! It is a fab show - really has a very relaxed feel to it for a big event.

I keep looking at this glorious weather and thinking how come it is supposed to tip it down all day tomorrow! Have wet weather gear at the ready but worried how do we get riding jacket dried out as need to be back on Friday for 7.00 a.m class and determined daughter will look smart for her 'judging' duties - may have to resort to jacket no 2 as well but it is the long boots I am worried about. I remember one year it rained so much when we were competing at the end of the class we tipped out half a bucket of water from her boots!! I was also hoping to resemble a 'smarter' person than normal for the next 2 days - hoping this is a 'Michael Fish' weather forecast for tomorrow!!
