I have started to introduce double bit and have done a couple of shows using it.
He goes fine in it but is extremely mouthy in it and when standing chucks his head up and down.
The bradoon is a French link and the Weymouth has fixed sides. Is there a different variation to make him more happy or is it just too much in his mouth and therefore need to change to a Pelham

I would also try the original bridoon, but it may be that there is too much 'play' in the loose ring and it could be worth trying an eggbutt bridoon. The other possibility is of trying s slimmer set of mouthpieces such as the Neue Schule Slimma set to give him a little more room in his mouth. He sounds as if he is trying to gain some space for his tongue maybe.
