I feed d&h build up cubes to my 13.2 show pony just wondering if anybody else uses them at all as nobody seems to mention them in any of the other threads I have read.

I would want to find out what's in them first - D&H website doesn't say but if you look on the white label sewn into the seam it will give a list of ingredients. For ponies I like to avoid any starch or sugar, basically cereals or molasses, as they predispose the animal to insulin resistance, EMS and laminitis.

OK, have had a look and the ingredients listed on white label are; wheatfeed, unmolassed sugarbeet, oatfeed, wheat, extracted sunflower, distiller's wheat grains, cane molasses, alfalfa, vegetable oil, barley, limestone flour, salt, vitamin/trace mineral premix, calcined magnesium.

Well I wouldn't feed them, but we all make our own choices.

As I said in my first post above. I try to feed fibre and oil feed with no sugar or starch.
