A horse may have qualified for RI, but never competed at RI to be elegible for SFAS Said horse may have never been ridden in a ring by a producer/professional neither There are so many rules with regards to SFAS

not that it really matters as S4AS don't really stick to there rules anyway as ponies that have competed at RI previously with producers still got through last year

As per the rules you are not eligible, and just because others break the rules doesn't make it right.

Didnt say that it was right, just wanted to know what the rule was as when i looked two of the RI rules seem to cross over what each one was saying, but thanks for letting me know.

I thought that's against the rules, any immediate family that have been to Ri or hoys means that you can't, so surely the girls brother can't do it if she went to hoys last year ?

Show horse judges that have been registered with any association, organisation, society, club or other legal entity involved in equestrian show horse competition (including any showing association or breed society); 5.4.2. anyone who produces, rides or schools show horses or ponies for financial remuneration, or other reward; 5.4.3. anyone who has ridden exhibited or owned a horse in any show class at Horse of the Year Show since and including 1997; 5.4.4. anyone resident at the same address as anyone who has owned, ridden or exhibited a horse or pony in a show class at Horse of the Year Show since 1997; 5.4.5. the immediate family of anyone that has previously competed in Search for a Star and Horse of the Year Show; 5.4.6. the immediate family of anyone within the category specified in paragraph 5.4.1. 5.4.7. Anyone on a committee, board or council of a recognised showing organisation. 5.5. Not withstanding paragraphs 5.4.3, 5.4.4, 5.4.5 a sibling, son or daughter of a Rider who has previously competed in Search for a Star and/or Horse of the Year Show may compete in or enter a Horse in the Competition provided they do not compete on the same horse or pony as his or her sibling or parent
