Entries are now open for Stoneleigh Horse Show which is being run as part of the British Showjumping National Championships in August at Stoneleigh Park. Showing classes are being held from Thursday 13th August through to Saturday 15th August and include a full range of ridden HOYS qualifiers, plus harness and miniature qualifiers. There are some supporting classes too including a Junior ring on the Friday afternoon and a WHP training stakes to give everyone a chance to stretch their ponies legs the day before the qualifiers. Interesting show but does anyone else think the stabling but particularly the hook up costs are ... Steep??!

It's just hoys there isn't much else to hold you there. Novice classes etc... Agree with the cost £42 per night plus bedding £90 to pitch a tent or caravan! Really? The hook up cost £54 you couldn't use that much electric in a night/day.... Surely!

The hook up prices have been amended and there is a press release to that affect on the website.
