Hi Darme Thanks for responding to my ad so in turn I will respond to yours ? I have used compagel on a few things from soft swellings to splints as recommended by vet and tbh never had any good results. May just be me but its in my experience

I have used it on my hwt's splint and had super results - the splint flattened and you'd barely know he'd have one now.
That said it was the only thing I used and the rest was pure good management. We took care with his work load, if there was a hint of heat or spongeyness (which indicates the splint is still active) he wasn't worked at all.
So whether the compagel or management I don't know, but for a splint I think key is reduce work and stop work if splint is active
