A friend has a miniature Shetland who has been diagnosed with Asthma today.
Like me she is not keen on steroids so are there any herbal remedies that would help him. The vet wants her to use an inhaler on the pony I assume that is steroid based.!
any suggestions would be really appreciated

when you say Asthama , do you mean COPD , or allergy type breathing ,,,, i too wouldnt want to go down the steroid route ,,however there are occasions when they have a bad attack when it is the only option ,,, anti histamine tablets work well if its a pollen allergy , and i always use them as my first port of call,,,or try Global Herbs

The vet says it is pollen asthma!!! Tonto has the heave signs and dry cough.! We intend to go down the herbal route and soak hay and keep a close eye on him.We will check out Global herbs. Thank you.
