Our Native 3 year old seems to be going through a growth spurt at the minute and as our grass has taken forever to come through this year, he has access to ad lib hay. Throughout the winter we did give him a bucket feed of speedibeet. What would you feed him if anything now to ensure he is going to get all the nutrients he requires? Thankyou

Balancer designed for youngstock, in a handful of non-molassed chaff if you want to bulk it out.

I use Saracens STAM 30 to give my youngsters what they need, it's always done them great. A large cup full with nothing else.

I would get a balancer if you feel he needs it. I have 2yr olds they have lived out with ab lib haylage all winter and were a bit skinny however the grass came though and they have piled the weight on!
