I am struggling to get a saddle to fit my round cob, he has no withers and saddle slips to the side, can someone recommend either a good make for him or a cheapest saddler that would make one that's not 1000s
Thanks

I have a Fylde Emma which i use on my extremely round Exmoor and Connemara! Cracking saddle, I've flat shown, working hunter and hunted in it! Not moved once and very reasonably priced!

If you go for an ultra close contact showing saddle they do tend to stay in place, this is because the panels are very thin and so have no scope to allow movement which a thicker flocked panel would. I would personally recommend fitting them with a sheepskin pad to give extra protection, and if necessary a rear riser of some kind (the Mattes correction pad system works well for this combined) to rebalance the saddle.
