Hello I was wondering if anyone has any good tips, I am getting a foal (once she has turned 6 months) although i have plenty of handling/stud work experience with foals, I am finding myself a bit unsure on the best ways to integrate her with the other horses for t/o. I have worked with foals and normally had 5-8 foals in groups so they have never has to go out with older horses. The other horses (only 3 of them) range from approx 6-23 yrs old, i suppose my questions are as followed... Should I section off a apart of the field just for her and let her get use to the other? Do i just put her in with 1 of the others to start with till she it a bit bigger? Am worried she may get attached to the other horses or not let me catch her or may get hurt. I will be doing alot of handling before I just leave her in a field. Any tips and suggestions are very welcome. Thanks in advance x

If I were you I'd put her with an older mare until she's much older. I've seen 2 geldings run a filly to her death before, and it's scarred me for life! Defo just 1 other quiet companion till she is older.
