My 5yr old welsh b has just thrown a small splint on his inner front leg. Any advice for getting rid?
Thanks in advance

Don't work the pony until it settles. Leave the splint alone. In my experience, these splints tend to go on their own and lotions and potions, lemons and pennies discolour the fur, irritate the skin and can make the splint worse. At best they will draw attention to it. However, you will be given lots of conflicting advice, but I would resist the temptation to rub any sort of gunk on it

good old R+R ,,, and let mother nature heal it ,,, no quick remedies , or short cuts ,, it'll worth it in the end
