yes was so impressed we bought one! Very good for mares that do heat up/sweat as its a heat sensor. not any good for those mares who don't heat up! www.foalingalarm.co.uk/#

Thanks, but I don't really want to buy one as I've only got one mare to foal, and nothing covered for next year. It probably wouldn't work in this weather either, I've just brought my mare in and she's sweating like mad but it's so hot, lol. I've seen one that detects when the mare lies down flat out to foal, has anyone tried that?

we originally hired ours from foaling alarms uk! You could ring them and ask for hire! It was quite reasonable when we hired it! Worth a call. The lie down ones I have heard of but not known anyone who has used it!
