**LONG-TERM LOAN HORSE WANTED TO COMPETE**
I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for a loan horse to compete at BS events (ideally up to 1.10/Newcomer Level) and have a varied life (hacking, schooling, dressage, competing).
- Or a ride on an intermediate worker would be lovely due to my age (21). I have competed in 153 worker classes previously.
- Or a ride on a large native over 15h (pref Welsh D) to compete in M&M worker classes, showjumping, dressage etc. I have competed a Connemara in affiliated M&M flat classes previously.
This is unfortunately due to my own warmblood who I purchased 10 months ago sustaining damage to two suspensories, so he is now on complete field rest and won't jump again with other problems going on too.
ABOUT ME:
I completely miss getting out competing and have owned horses for 8 years, bringing on my first pony from a 4yo and having much success up to 1m, and then buying my new horse to teach me the ropes at a higher level. I cannot afford to buy another with still having mine living out, but the new horse will be loved and pampered as much as my own! I have the finances to treat them like a king/queen, just not the amount needed to buy a new horse to fit my criteria.
I have competed up to 1m10 unaffiliated with my 15h oversized pony, and done one British Novice on a ticket on my current horse before he damaged himself. I am not going to lie and say I'm a perfect rider, I still have things to learn, but have had several months to adjust to riding a bigger horse after coming off a pony. My current horse is a big softie, but also has his quirks like any warmblood, so this has taught me a lot. I have also spent a successful year on the Oxford Brookes Equestrian Team, riding new horses in dressage and showjumping with only 5 minutes to get to know them.
THE IDEAL HORSE:
I don't mind age, breed, gender, size (although I am 5ft3 so nothing too big!), this arrangement may suit an older Grade A/B still looking for an active life at a lower level. Also don't mind a slightly younger willing horse with potential to move up the grades. We have a horsebox so can easily transport to shows/lessons etc.
The horse will ideally be kept at a part-livery yard in East Marton nr Skipton, North Yorkshire with my own, which has excellent facilities, off road hacking and all year turnout where horses can be horses!
Many references can be provided. Any videos needed, pictures, further information, please don't hesitate to contact me. Many thanks, Maddie.
