Is he being naughty or is he ill

I have a 9 yr old Lancashire Heeler Dog.

He has the last week 'poopd' during the night in fact last night he did 5 !!

Usually if he wants to go out day or night he tells you but he has not done so the last few nights, he is not having any accidents during the day and is telling me when he wants to go out during the day.

He is not weeing during these accidents !!

Has anyone else had this problem

think it could be down to maybe his age and not all working right

In that this is unusual behaviour for him I would be popping him into my vets, just to rule anything out. 9 isn't old for a small dog. Has there been a change of routine in the house or have you altered his feed?

Not had any more accidents since so fingers crossed he was just a bit off colour.
