I have a mare who was supposed to stop growing at 15.2 but she didn't stop growing and is now a huge 16h and is now far too big for me. She started her showing career at the age of 5 when she went to the Royal Windsor Horse Show and for 2 years I rode her in Show Hunter/Hunter/Riding Horse classes up to county level where she went very nicely. The judges always love her because she is like a rocking horse, so comfortable and mannerly and great looking too. However, due to massive work commitments she has done nothing this year and she is big, bored and stroppy and being totally wasted. I wondered if there is anyone out there who would like to loan her for a year or two and get her back on track. She would equally make a fantastic riding club mare, she just happens to have a showing background and so always goes in an outline because of her training. I would only loan her to a knowledgable 5 star home as I would probably like to have her back one day when my daughter will be able to ride and compete on her. She would probably love hunting although she can occasionally be a bit marish so would probably have to wear a pretty red ribbon in her tail, having said that, she is out grazing with mares and geldings so she is a bit of an enigma?! I have had her since a small foal so I will only loan her to someone very special.
