This pony is our little angel. She is a fleabitten grey, registered Shetland mare who has been an absolute godsend for our now 13 year old jockey. She does everything! Literally! There is no ends to her talents......she has successfully show jumped, hunter trialled, dressaged, fancy dressed, been crawled over and shown in hand, as a lead rein, first ridden, worker, junior and open pony with success to a high level. She has never been over-done, but has had a varied life (as all our ponies do!) She will stand for hours to be groomed, fussed, plaited, laid on etc! But when its time to work, she never says no! This year we have concentrated on the RI Junior & Amateur classes, of which I can only remember one that she was not placed in. She missed her RI ticket sadly, but after 6 or so 2nd placings, I think she has been very consistent! She is adored everywhere she goes and adapts to any rider who has been priviledged to have a ride! She stays away from home without a fuss and practically loads herself into a box or trailer. She works in any area, hacks in open spaces, schools in open fields and doesn't bat an eye in traffic. She is good as gold with the farrier, to worm etc and stands with no headcollar to be fully clipped. She also long reins and participates in 'ride and lead'. I really cannot rate this pony enough and if it wasn't for our jockeys ever-growing lanky legs and if we had another little person she would have a home for life....but the reality is she thrives on work and has so much more fun to give a lucky little person! We are asking £3500 for this total legend of a pony.
