Stunning 7yr old dartmoor mare for sale. She is very well put together and bred. She has a AHC of 122cm
Sire Oaktree Star Storm - DPS premium graded stallion
Dam Cayberry Northcountry Cherry - many winnings at country level in hand
Grand sire shilstone rocks north country man - twice qualified for hoys and 2006 olympia best of breed
She will make either a top class lead rein, dressage or small breeds. She has been shown successfully in hand as a foal with her breeder and with myself only three times last year gaining reserve champion m and m at barlow show and she was the only in hand pony in the championship, 5th dartmoor mare at Equifest. This has been a difficult decision to make. She was bought last year and has been used by my very nervous daughter to ride around the farm and keep my mare company which she has done perfectly. My daughter is out of lead rein so competitively this has not been pursued and she has not the skill or inclination to school a pony and is not confident to compete as a first ridden so she is completely wasted with us. She is capable of so much more than we use her for and deserves a chance of a competitive career under saddle, in the right hands she will go far. She is perfect for someone to bring on over the winter as all the basics are there and bring out next season. She us fully broken but schooling wise is green due to her just hacking out but wouldn't take much to get up to scratch and is schooling well with a small adult but unfortunately I am too big to ride her so unable to bring her on myself. She loads in either a lorry or trailer, good with farrier (she is bare foot), up to date with jabs, worming, teeth and back. Good to clip, bath etc.
