Just wanted some opinions - I run a yard a where we do pretty much everything apart from the riding and the grooming. A new livery has arrived who would like their horse groomed each day when it is brought in. This would not be included in the normal livery so I would need to charge extra but not sure how much would be the norm? Does £20 a month sound reasonable?

I'd be happy to pay £20 month for daily groom if offered as an extra to standard livery package, less than 70p a day!

I would work out out how long it takes a day (is that 5 or 7) and work out your hourly rate and divide it, maybe 15 minutes, at £8 an hour so £2 a day....
Could add up to £60 a month!! Sounds a lot but it's all time!

Depends what level of grooming they are expecting, with winter just round the corner it will take longer. I would ask what they think is a reasonable price. I would also think about the time it's going to take. If you offer this service very cheap is it sustainable at this price if ither liveries start asking for the same service
