Trying to find a tweed to suit a chestnut with flaxen mane and tail and white blaze and socks. I've currently got a dark green one but don't think it suits think I need something brighter? Maybe a lighter green or maybe a browny/mustard colour?. Planning to do small show hunters next year so don't want anything too loud in pattern. I've had some swatches from le beau cheval, showing selection and Mrs candy but still a bit stuck. Any ideas?

Ive got a chestnust with falxen mane and tail too and i tend to think brown/dark colours suit them better. I also have a lighter green one but when i looked back at a photo of me on her i didnt like it, so with her i only use my brown one.

Thank you! Was thinking brown might be a good idea. I've got a swatch that's rusty brown with red/orange over check from le beau cheval that I quite like

I have a chestnut sec C with flaxen mane and tail and I wear the Le Beau Cheval tweed you have described above. Goes really nicely with his colour.

That's great to know! I really like that tweed just wasn't sure if it would be too bright on him but good to hear that it goes well
