Fabulous Irish Sports Pony
Incredibly Versatile
13hh, 8yr old, palomino mare.
Millie is the ultimate 2nd pony. She has the potential to excel in any chosen discipline and is always eager to learn and please. She is never sick or sorry and always ready to work. Has proved to adapt to any riding ability.
She has had a go at just about everything. Dressage, sponsored rides, beach rides, SJ/XC, PC/Camp. She would be a real 133cm WHP prospect, she's very bold and has never said no, easily popping 75cm at home with younger jockeys.
She has masses of bone and lovely straight movement, a real leg in each corner, old fashioned SHP type.
She's a push button ride and never gets strong or fizzy. Regularly worked in large, open spaces.
She is currently doing dressage with us and always in the high 60's%.
Was 2nd on her first ever outing, behaving beautifully and qualified for the NFU Mutual Finals, where she was 6th. She's so easy to take out to competitions and never gets wound up.
At home, she is 100% to hack alone and in company, first or last and is excellent in traffic.
Extremely used to a busy yard environment, if there's something exciting happening, Millie will be at the back of her box eating hay, she's an absolute mother’s dream who is excellent to do in all ways. Can be handled by small children and would stand all day to be groomed.
She would be very happy with a quiet life of plodding and fun but would equally love to be in the hands of someone who wanted to bring out her full potential.
I honestly believe this pony could go far in any sphere as she is so, so willing. She is always the first one to the gate to be caught, lives in or out, never gets worked up if grazing is limited and has to be ridden from the stable.
I can’t think of a bad word to say about Millie, she hasn't put a foot wrong since the day she arrived and what started out as a pony to turn around and move on, has now turned into a very sad sale. 5* home is essential for this sweet pony, who has so much to give.
Up to date with worming, vacs and teeth, she is also unshod.
Currently fully clipped, fit, competing and ready to give the next little rider as much fun as she has given me.
