food is not the answer and aviod having over weight. Work, both by her, and you is what will make the difference. Slow work to get her muscled and fit, horses do need to be fit for stamina for showing, even travelling takes a lot out of a horse; so you need long, slow work to achieve this. walking uphill will build up the quarters along with lateral and grid work.
The other way of improving topline is strapping, this is required on a daily basis, start off with a sort work-out and build up. You need to be rhythmical as you are inducing the horse to clench muscles which ahieves muscle build up, so you do not need to be hard, just enough to make the horse clench the muscle. It builds yours up too!
Dont forget that maturiety will also help, so expect her to be at her best in a couple of years time.
Have a fun season and remember that patience wins the game, there are no quick fixes.

Just to add - pushing in feed as gillwales says will not achieve your aim, but to build muscle you do need to provide the "building blocks" for it in terms of quality protein, not fat building, fizz inducing calories.

I agree with gillwales & sarahp.
Try TopSpec comprehensive balancer. Using it on our TB 6 year old bought out of training and it is helping provide all the quality protein and amino acids that are required to build muscle.
He's looking good. It is taking time (and patience)but we are achieving quality muscle and weight increase together with stamina from regular slow correct work.
