Traditional piebald cob gelding, passported 14.3 at 4 years old, takes up your leg, plenty of bone, full mane and feathers, just turned 9.
Unshod, good to load and travels alone or in company, box or trailer, clipped once and perfectly fine with it. Teeth and back checked, vaccinated annually, passed full five stage vetting as a 5 year old.
Good conformation, fabulous paces with the right rider. Has had very complimentary comments from county judges in the show ring and in dressage although we have only done things for fun as we are not highly competitive.
He loves being out and about and would be fabulous at Le Trec, farm rides, etc. He is currently being ridden by a 15 year old girl and is trusted to take her out hacking either alone or in company along reasonably busy roads with big farm traffic to open fields and she feels totally confident in him.
He can be slow to respond to aides in the school with a complete novice, but his current rider has been schooling him and he goes off her leg with very little convincing.
He is bold out cross country, proving keen to jump everything asked of him. He has seen all fillers, coloured and rustic fences and is not bothered at all. Has a scopey jump for a cob, clearing 90cm in the school.
Although not suitable for a complete novice, he is incredibly honest and genuine and is a true family horse with a loving and inquisitive personality.
We think he would be most suited to a home where he can be ridden for hours in the open as this will keep him engaged and forward.
We are based near Preston, not far from the motorway.
If you think he may be a prospect, please message me on here and I can answer any other questions you may have.
