11.3hh, grey, 9 years, registered Welsh Section A, gelding. We have owned him since he was 3 years old. Very well bred by Knodishall Gwillym out of Cosford Charity.
Fantastic LR pony who will look after any tiny tot in the show ring – follows instructions from the leader.
Superb temperament.
Does not need lunging, calmers, or ear plugs – comes straight off the lorry into the ring.
Competed in evening performances – not fazed by lights, music or clapping.
Does not need to be ridden every day – can be left for months & will still be sane & sensible!
Easy to do – catch, lead, load, travel, bath, farrier, dentist etc, never bucked, reared or bolted, no lumps, bumps or ailments!
Very low mileage as only ridden by borrowed jockeys who meet him at shows – never put a foot wrong & mums happy to give references!
Borrowed jockeys are now out of LR so he has started FR with small 10 year old, winning his class & Mini Champ at his first BSPS show & placed at his 2nd. Will make a great FYFR.
Hacked out across open fields by older rider & on LR. LR rider has also ridden him around busy showgrounds off the lead.
Also has potential for LR WH as pops a jump!
Fine in all traffic met to date (including heavy showground traffic), however, we do not hack out along busy roads due to previously losing a pony in an accident.
Teeth & back checked every 12 months.
Lives in or out.
Must go to a home with other equine company where he will be loved – only for sale due to no small jockey at home to bring out his potential & forthcoming changes to circumstances mean that he will be wasted with us & he deserves to be out having fun!
