31) First ridden – not to exceed 128cms. Snaffle bridle only. Rider 12 years and under. Open to M & M, show hunter and show ponies.

Ring 3 has been designed to accommodate ponies or riders/handlers who are novice to showing. Please enter these classes in the spirit they are intended. In this ring competitors are only required to wear shirt, tie, beige jodhpurs, a hat and appropriate footwear.
42) Novice in hand - All horses and ponies must not have been placed 1st or 2nd in any open showing class.
43) Capability inhand class – for handlers 12years and under
44) Lead rein equitation – snaffle bridle only. Riders under 10 years
45) Nursery equitation – snaffle bridle only. Riders under 10 years
46) Equitation – snaffle bridle only. Riders 10 to 15 years.
47) Senior equitation - snaffle bridle only. Riders 16 years and over

Rules and Conditions
1) The organisers will not hold themselves responsible for any accidents,
loss or damage to competitors, animals, vehicles or other property for
any reason what so ever.
2) Any person wishing to make a complain, must do so on the day of the event accompanied by £20 administration fee. This will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
3) Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
4) Excessive use of whips is forbidden and will result in disqualification. Whips must be of regulation length.
5) Competitors must be correctly dressed and hard riding hats must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
6) Galloping is forbidden outside the arenas.
7) The decision of the judges is final once the result sheet is signed.
8) Any person thought to be excessively or unnecessarily abusing any official will be escorted of the premises.
9) Cruelty of any kind to any animal will not be tolerated.
10) No dogs are allowed on the show ground.
11) Children must be supervised by an adult and not be allowed to play on or around farm equipment.
12) In the event of a clash of times of classes it is the responsibility of the competitor to decide in which class to compete. Entry fees will not be refunded.
13) Stallions will only be permitted if well behaved and with a competent adult rider/handler over 16 years.
14) The judge has the right to disqualify unruly animals.
15) The organisers and judges reserve the right to refuse an entry in the event of any unsoundness such as lameness, coughing and dangerous behaviour.
16) All judges are selected for their experience and professionalism; their decisions should therefore be respected.
17) Bad language will not be tolerated.
