I know each show has their own ideas about entry fees but just entered 2 puk R/I qualifiers. One show £26 the other £37. Quite a difference.

Yes almost every show is a different entry fee and if you want to do a late entry the fee can be doubled! Been at an affiliated show today, pre closing date £20 thereafter double the entry fee on the day for novice classes

It's completely unsustainable for someone like me, I can't afford to pay on average £30 for a qualifier, its disappointing when you have the quality animals but cant take them because of the cost! Soon people like me wont be able to carry on, with sometimes nearly £50 an entry, and usually no chance on winning any where near your entry fee back, and very rarely having the chance to win anymore then the entry fee, how on earth do people warrant it? And to add insult to injury sometimes when paying a large amount for a class, you are then handed a cheap piece of ribbon! Rant over!
